You'll also want to be here for a LIVE recording of Pulitzer Prize winner Aaron Jay Kernis' Symphony No. 4, his alternately thoughtful and colorful response to "living in the chaos of the world today." Hailed by The Guardian as "infinitely classy," world-renowned soloist Alban Gerhardt will perform Barber's lyrical and poignant Cello Concerto.

Aaron Jay Kernis’ Symphony No. 4 was commissioned by the Nashville Symphony and the New England Conservatory. The performances and recording of this work are supported by an Art Works grant from the National Endowment for the Arts.
