Be there as your Nashville Symphony presents this very special performance featuring the Violins of Hope, a collection of instruments played by Jews during the Holocaust. Concertmaster Jun Iwasaki perform John Williams' achingly beautiful melodies from the score for Schindler’s List, and the orchestra will perform and record the world premiere of Jonathan Leshnoff’s Symphony No. 4, a powerful new work written especially for this concert. Jonathan Biss returns to perform Schumann’s exuberant Piano Concerto, and the evening will close with Barber's profoundly moving Adagio for Strings.
