Group Sales: Frequently Asked Questions

What qualifies as a group?
A party of 10 or more qualifies as a group.

What are the discounts given to groups?
Parties of 10+ save 20% on select tickets. Rates vary by performance and are subject to change. Please call 615.687.6400 for details.

Will my group sit together?
Seating is dependent on availability at the time tickets are booked. Reserve your group early to ensure the best seating.

If I don't want to pay in full, what payment options are available to organize my group? Groups may reserve tickets using our "buy half/hold half" policy:

  • Buy Half/Hold Half: When your group purchases half its tickets up front, the Nashville Symphony will hold up to the same number of tickets until a predetermined release date, typically one month prior to the performance date. Before this date, any unused held seats can be released without charge. After this date, seats cannot be held, unless otherwise arranged with Nashville Symphony management.

Can I change my order?
Group orders may be adjusted up until the final payment. However, no refunds are issued once payment has been processed. Please call 615.687.6400 with questions regarding the Group Services ticketing policy.

What if someone in my group can't come at the last minute?
Groups can exchange tickets for select events no later than 72 hours prior to the performance for a fee of $10 per ticket exchanged. For details, please call 615.687.6400.

Where can groups park?
If your group members are arriving in individual vehicles, there are many nearby garages in downtown Nashville. Click here for more information about parking options.

Groups are responsible for arranging their own parking and transportation.

Are any items prohibited?
Backpacks are not allowed inside the concert hall, and all bags are subject to search upon entry to the Schermerhorn. For the smoothest entry, group members are advised to bring personal items in smaller handbags. No outside food or drink is permitted in Schermerhorn Symphony Center.

What should I wear to the concert?
We encourage patrons to wear what is comfortable for them. In the interest of other patrons, please be considerate of those in the audience who may have allergies and refrain from wearing scented products, such as cologne or perfume.
