One of the most beloved pieces ever written, Tchaikovsky’s First Piano Concerto opens with an unforgettable melody and overflows with lush lyricism and keyboard fireworks, delivered here by dazzling Uzbek pianist Behzod Abduraimov. This evening of Russian classics also includes Shostakovich’s Symphony No. 8, a powerful statement about the effects of World War II.

At this concert, we will have a Toys for Tots drop off box in the Main Lobby of the Schermerhorn. Toys should be new and unwrapped.
