From family-friendly concerts in the parks to informal chamber music concerts, these programs are a part of what makes the Nashville Symphony a community resource. Community Concerts

Enjoy the warm summer nights of June, bring your favorite lawn chair, pack a picnic dinner and immerse yourself in an evening of popular classics at these FREE outdoor concerts. 

 
Chamber Music Series

An informal and interactive concert-going experience, with programming developed by members of the orchestra. This FREE evening of music and conversation is a wonderful way to explore the history and artistry behind the music.

 

Let Freedom Sing

This free annual celebration of the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. features classical works and popular songs that affirm equal rights and social justice.  

 
Classical Conversations

Offered one hour before all evening Classical Series concerts, these informal talks feature conductors and musicians sharing insights into the repertoire.

Lifelong Listeners

The program is designed to improve the quality of life for senior citizens by encouraging participants to experience cultural life, build social support networks through volunteerism, and promote a lifelong love of music.
