Our opening night special features arguably the world's greatest banjo player, Béla Fleck, a long-time friend of and a favorite collaborator with the Nashville Symphony. Béla joins us for our season-long 100th anniversary celebration of George Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue, recreating the fiendishly difficult piano concerto on banjo. He literally started working on this classic while he was still in high school, and now, at the height of his artistry, we'll get to hear his dazzling rendition for the first time with an orchestra. A true Music City special!

Please note that this event has a nine-ticket limit per household. For groups of ten or more, please submit our group inquiry form and we’ll contact you for assistance.
