Take a behind-the-scenes peek into the business and artistic operations of the Nashville Symphony. Join an esteemed panel of guests to learn more about the Composer Lab & Workshop, a program founded in 2015 to promote the work of young composers. Led by Nashville Symphony Music Director Giancarlo Guerrero and Workshop Director Aaron Jay Kernis, the program seeks to discover the next generation of outstanding American composers by providing a unique opportunity to develop talents, gain hands-on experience working with a major American orchestra and showcase their work for a live audience. “This program is an important part of the Symphony’s long-standing commitment to promoting the creation of new, forward-thinking American music,” says Giancarlo Guerrero.
