Single Tickets for Nashville Symphony’s Milestone 2016/17 Season Go on Sale to the Public July 22

100+ concerts include Harry Potter in Concert, Holst’s The Planets, Yo-Yo Ma, Frankie Valli, Itzhak Perlman, Ravel’s Boléro, Michael Feinstein and more 

Nashville, Tenn. (July 21, 2016) – Single tickets for all upcoming performances during the Nashville Symphony’s 70th anniversary season – including more than 100 classical, pops and jazz concerts — will  go on sale to the public at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 22.

In addition to its 70th anniversary season, the Nashville Symphony is celebrating 10 years at Schermerhorn Symphony Center with one of its most exciting and diverse concert lineups. Concerts going on sale to the public July 22 include:
  • Aegis Sciences Classical Series concerts featuring the Nashville Symphony, including Holst’s The Planets (with HD space footage from NASA), Ravel’s Boléro, The Rite of Spring, Respighi’s Pines of Rome, and Beethoven’s Second
  • FirstBank Pops Series concerts featuring the Nashville Symphony, with guest artists including Peter Cetera, Mandy Barnettt, Michael Feinstein, The Temptations and Matthew Morrison
  • Jazz Series concerts, including The Chick Corea Elektric Band with Lalah Hathaway, Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis and Boney James
  • Special events with the Nashville Symphony, including Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone™, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets™, Handel’s Messiah, Michael W. Smith and Valentine’s with Frankie Valli
  • Pied Piper Children’s Series concerts, including Peter and the Wolf and Dr. Seuss’ Green Eggs and Ham
  • HCA Legends of Music Series concerts, including Itzhak Perlman in Recital, Peter Frampton and Yo-Yo Ma – Edgar Meyer – Chris Thile
  • Presentations without the orchestra, including Halloween Movie Night: Phantom of the Opera, In the Mood and Drumline Live
