Join Symphony musicians Gloria Yun (flute) and Tim Pearson (bass) in musical reading of The Hike by Alison Farrell. Geared toward Preschool and early Elementary ages, this program includes a follow-along printout that doubles as a park scavenger hunt for your next family adventure! Program and additional outdoor activities created in partnership with the Friends of Mill Ridge Park.

This free community concert is a part of The Nashville Symphony's third iteration of Music in My Neighborhood, a musical residency in a Nashville neighborhood. This season's Music In My Neighborhood Residency will be held in Antioch throughout March. The Symphony will partner with local organizations and schools to highlight Antioch’s history, culture, and residents through a series of free ensemble performances, educational programs, and unique collaborations.

Nashville Symphony musicians Anna Lisa Hoepfinger and Keith Nicholas will bring fables and picture books to life in this free, 35-minute musical program geared toward Pre-K and elementary children. The program includes live music, storybooks, and active listening activities, along with visual and sensory elements that are incorporated to support neurodiversity and accessibility.

Join the Nashville Philharmonic Orchestra as we close out our season with Gustav Mahler's monumental opus, Symphony No. 2 in C minor, "Resurrection". Under the baton of Music Director and Conductor Christopher Norton, Nashville's largest volunteer community orchestra will present its most ambitious performance yet, with over 100 instrumentalists on stage! The NPO will be joined by a volunteer chorus of nearly 100 singers from around the Nashville region, under the rehearsal guidance of Wesley King, Artistic Director of Nashville In Harmony.

This special program will feature high school students of the Curb Youth Symphony from Vanderbilt's Blair School of Music performing alongside musicians of the Nashville Symphony, as well as three finalists of the 2025 Nashville Symphony Curb Concerto Competition competing live with the Nashville Symphony Orchestra.
