Thomas hails from Upstate New York where he began his dance training, excelling in tap at a young age. At age 15, Thomas won the gold medal at the World Tap Dance Championship in Riesa, Germany. He later moved to NYC to expand his training, attending a three-year program at The Ailey School receiving Certificate in Dance. After graduating in 2012, Thomas went on to perform in White Christmas at Westchester Broadway Theater, directed and choreographed by Randy Skinner, and West Side Story at Harbor Lights Theater Company, where he had the honor of learning the original Jerome Robbins choreography. Thomas then proceeded to work on several successful regional theater productions across the United States. Some highlights include Best Little Whorehouse in Texas at Finger Lakes Musical Theater Festival and Hot Shoe Shuffle at The Wick Theater where he debuted his first principal role as “Buck”. More Recently Thomas was seen in Nashville Music City Christmas starring Kelly Pickler and Samson Et Dalilah at the Kennedy Center with Washington National Opera. In the Spring Thomas will travel to Chicago to perform in The Lyric Opera of Chicago’s production of 42nd Street.
