Agreement Expands Access to Symphony Concert Tickets Throughout Region

Nashville, Tenn. (June 19, 2015) – The Nashville Symphony and Ticketmaster have announced a strategic partnership that will increase access to tickets for all concerts at Schermerhorn Symphony Center. Launched in May and now fully in effect, the agreement makes tickets for Nashville Symphony classical, pops and jazz concerts, special events with orchestra and presentations without orchestra available through Ticketmaster.com, Ticketmaster by phone and all Ticketmaster outlets.

“This partnership gives us the opportunity to expand our audience base even further and reach more music fans,” said Alan D. Valentine, Nashville Symphony president and CEO. “We’re thrilled to be working with a trusted and well-respected name like Ticketmaster. Already, we’ve seen just how much this relationship will have a dramatic effect on our visibility, market reach and points of sale, and we look forward to seeing it grow.”

“We are delighted to offer our robust marketing and ticketing solutions to the Schermerhorn Symphony Center, home of the Nashville Symphony and so many other great concerts, presentations and events. We look forward to helping them grow their fan base in Music City and exploring many additional opportunities in the years ahead,” said Marla Ostroff, Ticketmaster’s Executive Vice President Performing Arts and Strategic Accounts.

Tickets for all concerts at Schermerhorn Symphony Center will remain available for purchase at Nashville Symphony.org, and via phone and in-person at the Nashville Symphony Box Office.
