November 18, 2014

The Nashville Symphony has extended an exclusive multi-year agreement with promoter AC Entertainment (ACE). ACE has served as the buyer for non-orchestra presentations at Schermerhorn Symphony Center since 2012, bringing sold-out shows to the venue including B.B. King, Bill Cosby, Maxwell, Huey Lewis and the News, and Steve Martin and the Steep Canyon Rangers.

“Our partnership with AC Entertainment has helped contribute to a very successful period for the Nashville Symphony, including a record-breaking year for ticket sales during the 2013/14 season,” said Alan Valentine, Nashville Symphony president and CEO. “This relationship has made it possible to bring a wider array of artists to the Schermerhorn, and with ACE’s help we look forward to building on that success and delivering more outstanding entertainment to the people of Middle Tennessee.”

The Nashville Symphony and Schermerhorn Symphony Center have seen significant growth in ticket sales since ACE began booking the venue. This year, the Schermerhorn became one of Pollstar’s top 30 ranked venues in the world, and was recently recognized by USA Today as one of the top 10 attractions and activities in Nashville.

"The Schermerhorn Symphony Center has become one of the premier theater plays for high profile touring artists,” said Ted Heinig, VP Concerts at AC Entertainment; “We are very excited to continue this successful partnership with Alan Valentine and his incredibly talented team.“

One of Nashville’s leading promoters, AC Entertainment presents some of touring’s hottest acts (Lorde, Beck, Jason Isbell, Bassnectar, Twenty One Pilots, The 1975, Chvrches, Arctic Monkeys) to sold-out crowds in the city’s most popular venues, including the Ryman Auditorium, Grand Ole Opry and Bridgestone Arena, and Exit/In. Another exclusive booking partner, Marathon Music Works, was recently recognized as the #2 best place to hear music in the Nashville Scene’s 2014 Reader’s Poll.
