Teacher Resources

CURRICULUM AND LESSON PLANS

Nashville Symphony curricula are divided by age group and subject matter.

Bus and ticket fee reimbursement  is available for Title 1 schools. Email education@nashvillesymphony.org to request an application. If your application is approved, we can only reimburse up to three school buses (no charter buses or vans) at a maximum of $360. For ticket fee reimbursement, all adults must get their tickets scanned on the day of the concert to be eligible for refund.

If you do not qualify for our reimbursement program, you may still qualify for funding from another local nonprofit, Notes for Education.

LET'S GO THE SYMPHONY!

Let's Go to the Symphony is a video that invites you to the Nashville Symphony's beautiful concert hall, Schermerhorn Symphony Center, to meet conductor Giancarlo Guerrero and the musicians of the orchestra. Click here to watch.

TEACHER TRAINING

The Nashville Symphony designs a variety of teacher training sessions. The education department is available to speak about upcoming programs, lesson plans and other resources for teachers. Please contact education@nashvillesymphony.org if you are interested in setting up a training session.
