First Violin

Paul Tobias was born and raised in Tennessee and received performance degrees in violin and trumpet from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. He joined the first violin section of the Nashville Symphony in 1975. In addition to his extensive symphonic, recording and touring experience, Paul is well known in the Middle Tennessee area as an entertainer and musical contractor for weddings, conventions, parties and church and civic groups. He served as orchestra personnel manager of the Nashville Symphony from 1995 to 1999.
