Philip Glass Ensemble Retrospective (1969 - 2007) Established in 1969 by Philip Glass, the 10-member Philip Glass Ensemble (PGE) are considered the premiere performers of Glass’ works and continue to be an inspiration for his newest compositions. Led by Michael Riesman, the ensemble will perform selections from the famous opera Einstein at the Beach, the chamber opera The Photographer, the Low Symphony, and music from the film Koyaanisqatsi and The Truman Show, among other selections. Celebrating his 70th birthday, Philip Glass will be in attendance. |
