Helpful Information for Your Upcoming Concert

Schermerhorn Symphony Center is located at the corner of 4th Ave. S. and Demonbreun St. in the heart of downtown Nashville, directly across from the Downtown Hilton and on the opposite corner from the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. Guest Services

COAT CHECK

Guest may check their coats at one of several complimentary coat-check locations on each seating level. The most convenient is in the lounge located one floor below the Main Lobby.

CONCERT CONCIERGE

Have a question, request or comment? Please visit our Concert Concierge desk, located just inside and to the left of the Main Lobby doors. Open through intermission on all concert evenings, the concierge is available to help with anything you might need during your visit.

EMERGENCY MESSAGES

Guests expecting urgent calls may leave their name and exact seat information (seating level, door number, row, and seat number) with any usher. Anyone needing to reach guests during an event may call the Security Desk at 615.687.6610.

FOOD & BEVERAGE SERVICE

What are your food and drink options?
Schermerhorn Symphony Center offers drink service at bars conveniently located on every level of the building. Food service is available at our cafe, Cherry Street Eatery & Sweetery, which may be accessed via our courtyard entrance on Fourth Avenue. Schermerhorn Symphony Center offers drink service at seven bars conveniently located on every level of the building. Patrons are allowed to bring their beverages into the concert hall, as long as they have been placed in a plastic cup.

Food service is available in our cafe, Cherry Street Eatery & Sweetery, which may be accessed via our courtyard entrance on Fourth Avenue. Cafe service is walk-up, and we recommend allowing 45 to 60 minutes to purchase and enjoy your meal.

LOST AND FOUND

Please check with the House Manager's office for any items that may have been left in the building. The phone number is 615.687.6450.

RESTROOMS

Restrooms and water fountains are available in the lounge located one floor below the Main Lobby; on the east and west sides of the Founders and Balcony level; and outside the Mike Curb Music Education Hall on the Founders level. All restrooms are equipped for guests with disabilities. Several family restrooms are also available for guests needing special assistance.

SYMPHONY STORE

The Symphony Store is located on the West side of the building near the West Atrium lobby and the Café. A variety of items at all price ranges are available, including a wide selection of classical CDs plus the option of special orders. The Symphony Store is open during all concert evenings from one and a half hours prior to performance to 30 minutes after the performance.

TOURS

Docent-guided tours of Schermerhorn Symphony Center are offered free of charge at 1 p.m. on most Mondays and Saturdays. You  may also book a private tour. Click here for more information.


Visitor Policies

PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEO POLICY

Videocameras, recording devices and flash photography are strictly prohibited in the concert hall or in any other space where a performance or rehearsal is taking place. Cameras with a detachable lens may only be used with prior approval by the Nashville Symphony's Communications team

SMOKING POLICY

Schermerhorn Symphony Center is a smoke-free building. Smoking is permitted outside the building in the Garden, on the Plaza or outside on the East Terrace off the Balcony Lobby.

TICKET POLICY

All sales are final, and there are no refunds. You may, however, exchange tickets to any Nashville Symphony series concert or any special event in which Nashville Symphony is performing until 72 hours before the concert. For more information about how to exchange your tickets, click here.

NashvilleSymphony.org is the only official website for purchasing tickets to concerts at Schermerhorn Symphony Center.

If you have purchased your tickets from any other website or third-party vendor, your ticket may be counterfeit, and your seats cannot be guaranteed. Please be aware that third-party ticket resellers charge inflated prices for their own gain. We are unable to issue refunds or seat exchanges for tickets sold through third-party websites.
