This annual showcase for the Nashville Symphony Chorus is a can’t-miss event for fans of choral music, with selections ranging from beloved classics to groundbreaking contemporary works. Conductor Tucker Biddlecombe — who will officially take over as chorus director in September — has planned a program that will delight, surprise and intrigue.

“This year’s Voices of Spring concert will pay tribute to some of the great composers of the past — Handel, Bach and Mozart — while simultaneously looking toward the future,” Biddlecombe says. “The second half of the program highlights living composers such as Sarah Hopkins and Jake Runestad who push the envelope of what the human voice can do. There will be body percussion, overtone singing and beatboxing, featuring the Nashville Symphony Chorus in ways you’ve never heard them before.”
