Jared Grimes is a quadruple threat as a singer, dancer actor and choreographer. He has danced alongside legends such as Wynton Marsalis, Gregory Hines, Ben Vereen, Jerry Lewis, Fayard Nicholas and performed for President Barack Obama and Ted Kennedy at The Kennedy Center. Grimes has toured with musical legend, Mariah Carey, and danced for artists such as Common, Salt-n-Pepa, En Vogue, Busta Rhymes and the Roots. Grimes’ theater credits include: A Soldier’s Play and After Midnight on Broadway; The Radio City Spring Spectacular; Twist; Babes in Arms at the Goodspeed Opera House, and Gentlemen Prefer Blondes at New York City Center. Grimes has appeared in commercials for Coca-Cola, Subway, MTV and on television shows such as "Star Search," "Showtime at the Apollo," “ABC Family's ‘Dance Fever,’" and "The Jerry Lewis Telethon." His television acting credits include Fox TV’s "Fringe" and HBO's "Boardwalk Empire.” Grimes made his choreography debut in Cirque Du Soleil's, Banana Shpeel off-Broadway, and choreographed for his first film, “Breaking Brooklyn.” He has since gone on to choreograph Broadway’s After Midnight and associate choreograph Holler If You Hear Me, the Tupac musical. His feature film credits include "The Marc Pease Experience,” "Little Manhattan" and "First Born.” Recently, he has choreographed and won awards for Jelly’s Last Jam (Helen Hayes Theater), Scottsboro Boys and Ain’t Misbehavin’ at the Signature Theater; 42nd Street the Musical (Jeff Award) in Chicago, and Broadway-bound Light’s Out: Nat King Cole (Barrymore Award). Grimes is currently playing the recurring role of Adrian Shannon on NBC’s “Manifest."
