Led by director Tucker Biddlecombe, the Nashville Symphony Chorus will perform a selection of British choral music spanning four centuries, accompanied by organist Andrew Risinger and the brass and percussion of the Nashville Symphony. The second half of the concert will feature arrangements of African American spirituals by composers including Harry T. Burleigh and Andre Thomas, the latter of whom is today’s preeminent scholar of this innately American art form.
