Guest Services
Guest may check their coats at one of several complimentary coat-check locations on each seating level. The most convenient is in the lounge located one floor below the Main Lobby.
Have a question, request or comment? Please visit our Concert Concierge desk, located just inside and to the left of the Main Lobby doors. Open through intermission on all concert evenings, the concierge is available to help with anything you might need during your visit.
Guests expecting urgent calls may leave their name and exact seat information (seating level, door number, row, and seat number) with any usher. Anyone needing to reach guests during an event may call the Security Desk at 615.687.6610.
Enjoy a bite before the concert at the Urban Cookhouse café, located in the Schermerhorn's West Lobby. Offering delicious salads, wraps, side dishes, beverages and desserts, Urban Cookhouse begins serving 90 minutes prior to every concert and remains open through intermission (when applicable).
Schermerhorn Symphony Center offers drink service at seven bars conveniently located on every level of the building. Patrons are allowed to bring their beverages into the concert hall, as long as they have been placed in a plastic cup.

Restrooms and water fountains are available in the lounge located one floor below the Main Lobby; on the east and west sides of the Founders and Balcony level; and outside the Mike Curb Music Education Hall on the Founders level. All restrooms are equipped for guests with disabilities. Several family restrooms are also available for guests needing special assistance.
The Symphony Store is located on the West side of the building near the West Atrium lobby and the Café. A variety of items at all price ranges are available, including a wide selection of classical CDs plus the option of special orders. The Symphony Store is open during all concert evenings from one-and-a-half hours prior to performance through the duration of the concert.
Visitor Policies
You must have a ticket to enter Schermerhorn Symphony Center. If you do not have your ticket(s) prior to entry, please visit the box office to pick up your ticket(s). You may also have printable e-tickets mailed to you ahead of time by contacting our box office.
All purses and bags are subject to search by Schermerhorn Symphony Center staff. When planning your trip to the Schermerhorn, please allow sufficient time and be prepared to have your bag searched upon entering the building.
No outside food or beverage permitted inside Schermerhorn Symphony Center.
Videocameras, recording devices and flash photography are strictly prohibited in the concert hall or in any other space where a performance or rehearsal is taking place. Cameras with a detachable lens may only be used pending approval from the artist and the venue, and will be subject to rules and restrictions. Accessible Seating: If you have a special accommodation request (e.g. wheelchair seating, medical needs) please let us know by using the comments section of your web order or by calling the box office with your instructions when placing your order. Late Seating: Traffic and parking around Schermerhorn Symphony Center can become congested prior to a performance. Please allow extra time to arrive relaxed and ready to enjoy your event. All late arriving patrons will be seated at the discretion of the Schermerhorn Symphony Center staff.
Child Seating Policy: Every patron, regardless of age, needs a ticket to enter the concert hall, including babies. Schermerhorn Symphony Center reserves the right to remove anyone from the venue who causes a disturbance or disrupts other customers’ experience(s). Customers who are removed from the theater will not receive a refund. All sales are final and there are NO refunds unless the show is cancelled.
Parents who are breastfeeding should ask an usher for the best location to feed their child.
Schermerhorn Symphony Center is a smoke-free building. Smoking is permitted outside the building in the Garden, on the Plaza or outside on the East Terrace off the Balcony Lobby.
All sales are final. There are no refunds.
You may exchange tickets out of any concert in which the Nashville Symphony is performing until 72 hours before the concert. There are no exchanges for presentation concerts in which the Nashville Symphony is not performing, with the exception of Jazz Series concerts.
