After-School Programs

The Nashville Symphony’s after-school residency provides quality, interactive music education resources for organizations serving elementary and middle school students in the Nashville area. The residency is comprised of seven one-hour sessions including ensemble performances by Nashville Symphony musicians, an instrument petting zoo, drum circles, and a “sound lab” introducing students to the science of sound and recording.

Past partners have included RISE (Refugee and Immigrant Student Empowerment), The Boys and Girls Club of Middle Tennessee, and the Nashville Public Library.

Email the Education department to request the Nashville Symphony's participation in your after-school program.
