Luke Bryson joined the Nashville Symphony as Librarian in 2018. Previously, he served as Assistant Librarian with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra and as a Library Apprentice with the Santa Fe Opera. After receiving a B.M. in Oboe Performance and Music History from the University of Memphis, Luke trained as an orchestra librarian fellow at the Sarasota Music Festival and later as an intern with the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra. A Murfreesboro, Tennessee, native, Luke credits his passion for music to Nashville-area institutions such as the Curb Youth Symphony and the Tennessee Governor’s School for the Arts. In his free time, Luke enjoys cooking, reading, learning Japanese and spending quality time with his cats.
