Mary Catherine Mousourakis joined the Nashville Symphony administrative staff in 2021 and serves as Patron Engagement/Governing Members Manager. An experienced fundraiser, she brings nearly 25 years experience in non-profit management and donor relations.

Mary Catherine oversees the Governing Members program, its committee and activities. Previously, she spent fi ve years as Development Director of Owl’s Hill Nature Sanctuary and nine years building the newly formed Savannah Philharmonic in the artistic and marketing departments.

A Tennessee native, she earned her Bachelor of Arts with honors in arts management and performance from Mary Baldwin University. She has kept her passion for music alive by performing with several choral organizations, including The Goliards, I Cantori, Sherrill Milnes’s Voice Experience ensemble, Vox Grata Women’s Choir and the Williamson County Community Chorus.

Mary Catherine resides in the Nashville area with her husband Steve and teenage son. She enjoys time outside exploring the natural beauty of Tennessee.
