Film and TV star George Takei will make a rare appearance in Nashville to narrate Schoenberg’s A Survivor from Warsaw. A survivor of America’s internment camps during World War II, Takei brings a unique perspective to this moving tribute to the victims of the Holocaust. Charles Ives’ mind-blowing “cosmic drama” The Unanswered Question sets the stage for an incredible evening of music also featuring John Adams’ riveting Harmonielehre and Shostakovich’s stunningly beautiful First Cello Concerto.

Choral programs supported in part by the Mary C. Ragland Foundation.
