The Curb Youth Symphony is composed of Middle Tennessee's most talented and accomplished young musicians. The CYS is open to students in 8th through 12th grades by audition. Members of this young orchestra will have the opportunity to work with both Nashville Symphony members and Blair School of Music faculty members in section rehearsals, master classes and to participate in special joint programs with the Nashville Symphony. Rehearsals are held Monday evenings from 6:30-9:00 PM at the Blair School of Music, Vanderbilt University. The Curb Youth Symphony is sponsored jointly by the Nashville Symphony and the Blair School of Music.
