These modern music pioneers created explosive groups melding rock and jazz: Return to Forever and Mahavishnu Orchestra. As young jazz artists, they both did stints with the legendary Miles Davis and appeared together on the groundbreaking jazz/rock/funk classic Bitches Brew. Now joining forces, their new five-piece band signals a creative resurgence for these inventive giants.
