Curb Open Dress Rehearsals
College students and students in grades 3-12 are invited to attend Nashville Symphony Curb Open Dress Rehearsals. These rehearsals are a wonderful way to listen to the music, learn about the creative process, and interact with world-renowned classical soloists. Schools have two options when attending an Open Dress Rehearsal:
Option 1: Attend the full dress rehearsal. The rehearsals last two-and-a-half hours, with a 20-minute break midway through the performance.
Option 2: Attend the first half of the rehearsal, during which the soloist performs. Following the concerto, participate in a private Q&A Session with the soloist. This option lasts an hour and 45 minutes and is limited to 200 participants.
You must indicate your preference for Option 1 or Option 2 when registering.
*Please note that the Q&A with the soloist is contingent on the guest artist’s approval.*
Announcement For Organizations Serving Senior Groups:
The Nashville Symphony will be launching a new program for Seniors called Musical L.I.V.E.S. (Learn, Interact, Volunteer, Engage, Serve).
We will include many exciting opportunities to see performances and become more involved with the Symphony. This program will offer new ways to access the Symphony, connect with musicians, help us reach to our community and enjoy rehearsals and concerts.
We are currently constructing the webpage and registration process for this program. We will be launching in the coming weeks.
If you have any questiuons about Musical L.I.V.E.S. please feel free to contact Blair Bodine, Director of Education and Community Engagement at bbodine@nashvillesymphony or 615.687.6467.
